Develop a sound financial plan for apportioning PTA funds to meet the needs of the year's activities as planned by the PTA; chair the budget committee; make available a "Request for Funds" form to school personnel, verify availability of funds, present the request to the board and follow through with notification of the PTA's position with the person making the request; Keep books of account and records including bank statements, receipts, budgets, etc; make disbursements in accordance with the budget; sign on bank accounts; present a financial statement at general meetings and board meetings; make a full report at the annual meeting; be responsible for the maintenance of such books of account and records |
