Afterschool care

The YMCA will be providing onsite care every school day until 6:30pm.
Click here to register,  or go to the Mooreland YMCA to pick up an enrollment packet. Enrollment is first-come, first serve.  Please register before the first day of school.

Immunizations

DISD and Parkland Hospital have partnered to provide health services to all students. Youth and Family Centers are available to provide cost-effective, accessible, and quality physical and mental health care.

Office visits are $15, immunization visits are $5 (regardless of the number of vaccines provided), and Class D prescriptions are $5. Contact the Harry Stone nurse for more information and a list of locations.

All children must be current with immunizations to attend school. The Care Van Program offers free immunizations for children 2 months to 18 years. Visit www.carevan.org for information about the program and to see Fall 2010 schedule of events
