Hello! We would like to invite you, your family, and your campus to our second annual STEM Day held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Skyline High School from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Various groups, businesses, and organizations will provide STEM related hands-on sessions and activities for students, teachers, parents, and community members. This year we are offering over 80 sessions and activities with an added “Educator Track” for teachers and administrators. In addition to Dallas ISD’s departments, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, Texas Alliance for Minority Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, UT Southwestern, SMU, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Engineering for Kids, OnPoynt, Texas Discovery Gardens, Google for Educators, Mad Science, John Bunker Sands Wetland Center, Seaperch, VEX Robotics, Science in the Movies, and the US Navy will provide sessions and activities for STEM Day.
