Welcome back, District 5 Schools!
Trustee Lew Blackburn will be hosting an Academic Pep Rally on Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 9am until 12pm, at Wilmer-Hutchins High School, located at 5520 Langdon Road, Dallas, Texas 75241. Please encourage your students to participate.
Trustee Blackburn requests that you please publicize this event by:
- Distributing copies of the attached flyers to students, staff and parents
- Posting flyers throughout the school and publicizing on the school’s marquee
- Reminding students in grades Pre-K through 12 to bring their report cards to qualify for prize drawings which includes gift cards up to $100
- Encouraging parents and teachers to come out and celebrate our children’s success
Special Note:
- Students with Perfect Attendance will be eligible to win prizes
- Parents and Teachers will have chances to win prizes
- Students are asked to bring a book that they have read recently and students who give a summary of the book will be eligible for prize drawings
