Several Dallas ISD schools are closed today, Friday, October 3.
As of 5 a.m., 41 Dallas schools are without power and there has been no reassurance that power will be restored prior to 8 a.m. All other schools will remain open and buses will run on a normal schedule. All athletic events scheduled for tonight will take place.
Non-campus staff should still report to work.
